​Welcome to Nurtured by Nature Outdoor Exploratory School, an all outdoor program for ages 4-7! We offer play-based learning that nurtures the whole child. Our flexible schedules provide fun programs in nature, including School Year, Seasonal, and Summer options!

SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM
Join us in our school-year program, where your child can thrive in a consistent program designed for growth and learning. Enrollment is open for our school-year program, meaning that as long as there is availability and your child meets the age requirements, they can join at any time. Enrolling secures your child's spot and ensures priority access to future programs and our popular summer camp. Additionally, enjoy exclusive discounts with The Outdoor Shop for all your outdoor gear needs, making adventures more accessible and fun!
Students enrolled in our school-year program gain essential skills such as confidence, leadership, and autonomy of place and space. These skills allow children to navigate their surroundings with ease. Our flexible enrollment process ensures that every child has the opportunity to grow and thrive in a supportive environment. Seasonal Sessions
Discover our Seasonal Sessions, designed for families eager to explore the forest school model. This program offers a shorter commitment without compromising on fun. It is ideal for part-time preschool or kindergarten students who crave more outdoor, child-led play. It's a fantastic choice for winter birthdays, allowing kids to engage with peers before traditional schooling starts in August. Additionally, homeschool families can enhance their child's social and tactile learning experience through these enriching sessions. Seasonal Sessions are only available in the mornings, but we are open to full-day options. Please feel free to reach out with further questions.

2 days a week, a.m. only 8:30/9:00 am -12:00 pm, $267 per month
3 days a week, a.m. only 8:30/9:00 am -12:00 pm $400 per month
5 days a week, a.m. only 8:30/9:00 am -12:00 pm $640 per month
No class dates:
December 22-31 Holiday Break
January 1- 9 Holiday Break continues,

SPRING SESSION

2 days a week, a.m. only 8:30/9:00 am -12:00 pm, $293 per month
3 days a week, a.m. only 8:30/9:00 am -12:00 pm $440 per month
5 days a week, a.m. only 8:30/9:00 am - 12:00 pm $720 per month
No class dates:
March 23 - 30 Spring Break
April 24 No class, but maybe a possible pop-up date TBD

Summer Session 2026 Registration will open 01/12/25
Summer will be divided into three, two-week sessions. Families can choose one, two, or three sessions and may register consecutively or intermittently. Additionally, there will be a one week session offered in mid August. Participants can elect half days or full days. Half day programs run from 9:00am - 12:00pm with drop off and full day programs run from 9:00am - 3:00pm. While we are still solidifying our summer locations, we will be in natural Areas in Arvada and Wheat Ridge.
